Just published on Amazon Kindle as an eBook - The Man from Radio Moscow by J W Coleman

The year is 1980, and in the immediate aftermath of Operation Eagle Claw, President Carter’s failed attempt to rescue U.S. hostages from their embassy in Teheran; Mike Agnelli, ex British Special Forces, is working undercover as a radio operator on a joint U.S. and Saudi military construction project, in a remote location of North Eastern Saudi Arabia near the Iraqi border. Life becomes complicated for Agnelli, when he is mistakenly implicated in the death of an Israeli agent.
Meanwhile Soviet intelligence has uncovered a plot, by Sunni dissidents, to unleash deadly VX nerve gas at the Summer Olympics in Moscow, in retaliation for Soviet use of nerve gas in Afghanistan’s Panjshir valley, and the KGB quickly realise Agnelli holds the key to uncovering the whereabouts of the deadly nerve agent.
Targeted for assassination by Mossad, Agnelli flees to Europe where KGB surveillance operative, Pyotr Nesterov, saves Agnelli’s life, the two men join forces to track down and eliminate the terrorists; as Soviet Special Forces land in Saudi Arabia and a frantic hunt begins for the terrorists and their stockpile of deadly nerve gas.
