I like both of these images equally Gingo. I wonder what it would have taken to put more drama into the shot? If I were going to push my photos up a level, what would you recommend I do? Levonne's Pretty Pics

Levonne - Thank you again for your supportive comments. About your question, for me a photograph is just capturing a moment in time. Had I taken that photo a minute earlier I may have captured a beautiful bird or even a colourful balloon from the festival in the sky above the castle, or a minute later perhaps a boat emerging through the moat of the castle. So luck has to be an essential element of a good photograph, that and perhaps increasing technical knowledge of a camera. Bill Brandt, the famous photographer once said ''Sometimes they are a matter of luck; the photographer could not expect or hope for them. Sometimes they are a matter of patience, waiting for an effect to be repeated that he has seen and lost or for one that he anticipates.'' Hope that helps! Best Regards
